We are looking for actors (semi-professional, amateur, from all backgrounds, aged 18+) for our community production of the medieval poem Dance of Death to coincide with All Souls’ Day
Do you want to help bring to life the 500-year-old mural painted onto the walls of the Guild Chapel in Stratford?
What has been uncovered on the walls of the Chapel is one of the rarest schemes of medieval wall paintings in Europe. The Dance of Death is part of this scheme, and offers a glimpse into our medieval past. Featuring a series of characters from all walks of life, being led in a dance by Death, it reminds the viewer that life is fleeting and, in the end, wealth and status mean nothing.

Auditions: 23rd May 2024, 2.00pm - 6.30pm
Performances: 1st & 2nd Nov, 6.30pm - 8.00pm
Rehearsals: from July (dates tbc)
